Hi folks, I have just upgraded my camera body from a Nikon D3000 to a Nikon D3100, this seems to work just as well as the D3000. What I find with the D3100 is that the images are a lot sharper because of the 14.2 mp sensor meaning I can use faster shutter speeds without the images being to dark which i found with the D3000. Also I can use higher ISO and get no noise/graining. Like the D3000 the D3100 is very easy to master. The D3000 is a great starter body for digiscoping. I've got to the stage where my images have greatly improved having now been digiscoping for about 20 months. In fact some of my images are going into production & being printed onto greeting cards next year, so i decided to upgrade to a newer body so i can improve my images and rightly justified if i can say so myself
