Ness Point is the most Easterly part of the British Isles. "Sticking out" this far has its obvious advantages for birdwatching.
Late autumn and early winter provide excellent sea watching, with Gannet, Red Throated Divers and most species of Skua all making winter passage past our coastline.
Ness Point is easy to reach, and is dominated by "Gulliver" the wind turbine, currently the biggest of its kind I believe.
