Hello,

I recently bought a Swarovski ATX 95mm and a Sony a7R, supposing that I could use the Swarovski TLS on the A7R with the regular Sony T2 adapter. Now I've read that you can use the T2 adapter for Sony Alfa cameras on the Nex type Sony cameras, but I'm not sure whether this is also the case for the Sony A7R. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks and greetings from Holland, Ben

Hi there! Welcome to the forum & thanks for your question. I would use the T2 adapter designed for the Alpha mount. The NEX mount would probably be ok, but if in doubt always use the part designed for its purpose! Regards, Danny

I know this is an old thread, but for anyone whom might be interested, the Sony A7r  (and A7s and A7II) has an "E" (Sony Nex) mount flange. Sony Alpha doesn't fit on the A7r without an adapter, so you would be adding an adapter to an adapter.
