Here you will find all the roosts/swarms starlings are viewable from the end of November through until mid January. If you have any sites that are not on the map please contact either me or the admin [dannydigiscoping] so we can update it. This is only a guide to the roosts and we can't be 100% sure the starlings will be there.

Follow the points on the map for futher information on each site:


[A] Someset Levels

The biggest of all Starling roosts at 3 million birds


[B] Snape Maltings

Flocks of up to 3000 birds can be seen


[C] Leighton Moss


[D] Gretna Green

Roosts can be up to 3/4 million


[E] Slimbridge

Roosts can be up to 2 million strong

 

[F] Aberystwyth

A relatively small roost of about 10,000


[G] Hen Reedbeds

Flocks reaching 60,000 birds can be seen

 

[H] Brighton Pier

Starlings can be seen going to roost on the pier
