Finally got my cable release and what a difference ! took a few shots of mt local pigeons using my old Nikon ED 60mm. Field Scope, the Opicron adapter and camera mount plus the home made "bit" and the Panasonic FS 40 camera,  have a look !  http://bennerleyboy.blogspot.co.uk/

Well done Dave,

Much better! You blog post subtitled "how long does it take?"

I'd say at least 2 years. Look back 6 months from now and you'll be amazed at how much you will have learned.

You're doing very well so far :)

Thanks Danny, could you tell me how you would edit jpegs, I've been shooting raw with my Fuji HS 10 for ages, so I've not bothred much with jpeg. I have a set MO for raw and an MO for jpeg would be nice, thanks.

PS. Its a pity I can't digiscope with the HS 10 ! its got some useful features but at 30x [720mm] the zooms much too big.
