I am a wildlife photographer that speciaIizes in birds and I want to start digiscoping. I have a Leupold Ventana SX-1 scope and I also have a Canon PowerShot S90 camera. How can I get these two to work together? I am currently looking at buying a Celestron Universal Adapter, would that work? Also, I have a Canon 7D. Can I use that with a t-adapter and if so which one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated? Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your post.

I've had a quick look around the web, and can't find any manufacturer specific adapters and your scopes eyepiece has no T thread, so I think the Universal adapter that you mention will help to get you started with your S90.

For your DSLR, you could try one of THESE It'll do a job for you. You'll just need to measure the circumference of your eyepiece.

I hope this helps a little,

Good Luck,

Regards,

Danny.

Thank you for the information. I will order a universal adapter for the S90 and give it a go with that set-up. Again, thank you for the information and speedy reply, much appreciated.
