i'm on holiday mid sept going upto bemton cliffs and hawes in north yorkshire to see the red squirrel reserve which is about a 8 mile walk.

can anyone recommend a good quality waterproof backpack that will fit a celestron ultima 100ed a dslr camera, a few spares and tripod on the outside other than the lowe pro ones ?

due to the reserve being an 8 mile walk i think if i do the usual ( sling it all on my shoulder ) i'd prob get 1 mile.

thanks

Blimey, that would need to be quite a large rucksack to fit the Ultima 100 in!

Best bet would be a camping store, and take your scope so that you can see what fits best.

Thats what I would do!!
